Phone numbers come from the CMS provider contact table, checked October 2026.

What to have ready before you call a Georgia insurer
A short, prepared call is faster than a long one. Keep these in front of you before you dial any Georgia insurance companies contact number:
- The patient’s name as it appears on the card, date of birth and address.
- Your individual NPI (National Provider Identifier) and your tax ID.
- The date of service, the CPT code and the total billed amount. See the non-E/M CPT guide and the E/M CPT guide for psychiatrists.
- The claim number from the payer portal, if you have one.
Write down the name of the representative and a call reference number. Phone menus, holds and transfers can add up, and a dropped call means starting over. If you would rather not make these calls, MCM South does it for psychotherapists and psychiatrists.
