We believe it is important to know the patient's responsibility prior to the first date of service. Either the patient has a copayment or deductible.
We submit claims to insurance regularly during the week, to allow our self-employed providers to receive consistent revenue from insurance. Most insurers allow for electronic claims, in rare cases, claims can be mailed or faxed to insurance.
With your EAP (Employee Assistance Program) patients, we may submit those EAP sessions for reimbursement. Each EAP has a unique way to receive these claims:
1. Electronically
2. Through their website
3. Fax the completed form after the (DOS) date of service.
The most important task of the claim submission process. It is our responsibility to follow up on all claims to ensure the process is accurate. We will call insurance and navigate the customer service maze and time requirements to get the resolution for your claims.
