Overview

Georgia Medicaid at a glance

The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) runs Medicaid. Members in the Georgia Families program are enrolled with a care management organization (CMO) that pays their claims. Fee-for-service claims go through the GAMMIS portal.

Both psychotherapists and psychiatrists bill through the same programs. Prescribers add evaluation and management (E/M) codes on top of what is listed here. Check each CMO's manual, because plan rules can be stricter than the state manual.
